Another chance to bring a better world is here! Have you read What’s on April? In this article, we’d like to let you know that April is the month for Autism as every April Autism around the world celebrates World Autism Month.

For the peace of the world, we all agree on the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights, including for persons with disabilities. Therefore, the UN said that an inclusive and caring society is vital to ensure that all people with autism can lead full and meaningful lives.

Quoted from un.org, the purpose of the United Nations-sanctioned World Autism Awareness Day is to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society. According to un.org, here’s why we have to be concerned about autism in this situation;

With the high rate of autism over the world, the stigmatization and discrimination associated with neurological differences remain substantial obstacles to diagnosis and therapies. Most people lack understanding about it, so the impact is tremendous. This condition requires the role of public policy-makers from every country to intervene.

For this year‘s observance, the UN calls us to focus on inclusive education in the context of SDG 4 as inclusive education is the key to the transformative promise of the Sustainable Development Goals, to LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND.

Many organizations, communities, individuals, must have planned an event to commemorate this day. Many are already on Twibbonize with various interesting frames for you to support, here are some of them:
