We are not going to talk about poverty, occupation, or any of those economic or social conditions of the countries. Instead, this international commemoration is focused on the justice for criminal aspect. Most people got no choice in their life due to the weaknesses of the legal system in force.
It was all began when the Rome Statute adopted on 17 July 1998. It was when the victims of war crimes, crimes against humanity, crimes of aggression, and genocide just got their protection. With that being said, the adoption date is then marked as the International Day of Criminal Justice which is celebrated annually on 17 July to mark the importance of continuing the fight against impunity and bringing justice to the victims of crimes.
This is the time for anyone who wishes for justice support, for the rights of a victim, for the help to prevent crime threats, for the safe, security, and well-being to speak up. All states around the world who are member states of the International Criminal Court (ICC) are called for this urgency to continue support for the international justice system as the civil society members are important and to live up to their obligations. Therefore, this day is commemorated on an international scale.
There are several ways to take part in International Justice Day 2022, and one of them is here with Twibbonize. Various frames of International Justice Day are here in Twibbonize waiting for your support. Below are some of them:
