This country is gradually reopening the country’s tourism sector. The Cambodian Tourism Ministry has announced that fully vaccinated tourists will be allowed to enter Cambodia starting from November 30, 2021. The Cambodia Ministry of Tourism is raising support for the opening of the country’s tourism sector through a Twibbonize frame below.

This Twibbonize is designed with a colored circle-shaped frame that shows the element of Cambodia’s national identity, the country’s flag. The words “Cambodia is Open” clearly written at the top of the frame can be seen as a means of promoting Cambodian Tourism in an effort from the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism to revive its tourism sector. Quoted from Bangkok Post, the tourism revenue in Cambodia plummeted from $5billion in 2019 to $1 billion in 2020
Cambodia is gradually opening up some of its territories to become quarantine-free regions. As reported by IntroTravel.com, in January 2022, The Siem Reap province, home to the Angkor Wat is to be added to the quarantine-free region list in January 2022.
The step of this reopening by Cambodian Governments is that double-jabbed tourist is allowed to skip the quarantine for at least five days stay in designated areas where the first areas are Sihanoukville and Koh Kong, two seaside provinces. Meanwhile, the vaccine certification and rapid test results of COVID-19 are still required for Fligths to Cambodia. Several popular destinations in Cambodia, like beach spots Sihanoukville, Angkor Wat temples, and the island of Koh Rong is announced will be open on Tuesday, November 30 by The Cambodian Tourism Ministry.
