Earth Month Celebration from the Philippines is here, Saribuhay 2022! Department of Education (DepEd) of the Philippines, specifically the region IV-A Calabarzon school, school division office of Santa Rosa City just released a memorandum titled “Saribuhay 2022: Eco-Munidad Puno Ng Kulay” initiated by the Federated Youth for Environment in Schools-Organization (YES-O).
This event is according to the Philippines’ presidential proclamation No. 1481 and 1482, s. 2008 declared April as the “Month of Planet Earth”.
A series of activities during the whole month of April has been prepared for this occasion with each certain details, such as;
- Display Picture Blast
- Environmental Awareness Campaign
- Rakkalikasan: Himig-sikan para kay Inang Kalikasan
- Ka-LIKHA-San Poster and Slogan Making
- Webinar on Environmental Education
- War of Words: An Oratorical Speech
- Eco-Rampa: Search for the Division Eco-King and Eco-Queen
- Flower Planting Activity
