The National Narcotics Agency of the Republic of Indonesia launched a web-based educational platform to accommodate the creativity of Indonesian youth called REAN. It stands for Rumah Edukasi Anti Narkoba which means Anti-Drug Education Center. This is an innovative effort of the Deputy for Prevention of the National Narcotics Agency to build two-way communication with the younger generation of Indonesia.
It began with the drug prevention socialization carried out by National Narcotics Agency at the provincial and city levels, Indonesian National Narcotics Agency then realized that the youth has a lot of great potentials. So, the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency provided information and education media for all Indonesian youth all around Indonesia. At REAN, Indonesian youth are able to express themselves through works such as songs, graphic designs, articles, photography, and murals about drug prevention.
This effort is in accordance with one of the focuses of the Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency, Dr. Petrus Reinhard Golose regarding the current development of society. The representative of the Deputy for Prevention of the BNN RI for the Head of Online Media, Yona Janesia, said that Petrus wants to advance digital campaigns for drug prevention.
“Petrus is very concerned with prevention and eradication activities other than those face-to-face activities carried out by the National Narcotics Agency, we are also aware that social media and other digital platforms are currently very advanced and are needed to build public awareness,” said Yona.
Other innovations from Indonesian National Narcotics Agency in carrying out its role in drug prevention and eradication can also be seen in Twibbonize. Since last year, Indonesian National Narcotics Agency has held several digital campaigns and received tens of thousands of supporters in Twibbonize. The first digital campaign from BNN that is still going on today and gets the most support on Twibbonize is the War on Drugs campaign.

“As young people, we should be able to play our role in war on drugs, for example by participating in REAN, living a healthy life, encouraging our friends to join positive activities, joining communities towards positive goals, spending time doing positive things that will have good results or benefits,” said Yona.
Through this campaign, Indonesian National Narcotics Agency has invited all Indonesian people to live positively, and now Indonesian National Narcotics Agency is trying to convey that we also need to act correctly and decisively, because the drugs prevention and eradication are not only about to take up the arms, pursuing the criminals or dealer to war on drugs.

The war on Drugs has received more than 66 thousand supporters from the Indonesian people. It shows that this digital campaign is widely supported by the community, not only by the internal parts of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency.
Besides War on Drugs, Indonesian National Narcotics Agency has also created several other campaigns in Twibbonize, such as Indonesia’s Independence Day, International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, and the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency’s Birthday. “We see that the existence of Twibbonize is a great opportunity for us to organize a campaign,” said Yona.
After the last International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in 2021, REAN and the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency created a campaign for this occasion again for the second time at Twibbonize. The celebration falls on June 26. Currently, there are still a few weeks before the 2022 celebration, and as of this writing, the frame for Twibbonize International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2022 created by Rean Id has received more than 10 thousand support from the Indonesian people.

With this Twibbonize frame, the Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency invites all Indonesian people to support the great work of fighting drugs in Indonesia. The design of the frame above was also made based on the approval from the Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency. The frame was then shared with all agencies in provinces, districts, or cities in Indonesia through an official letter and short messages containing an invitation to use the Twibbonize frame which was disseminated through instant messaging applications, such as Whatsapp. Along with this digital campaign, the National Narcotics Agency will also hold offline activities which will be held in Bali on 26 and 27 June 2022. The offline events will be live-streamed for the provincial and district or city agencies throughout Indonesia can participate.
The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is an important day for the global community in dealing with the problem of drug abuse which is commemorated on an international scale. Therefore, in Indonesia, it is not only the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency that organizes events for this occasion, in other provinces and districts/or cities of Indonesia the other agencies also organize activities at its level with the Governor and/or other ranks of the Government.
Not only campaigns for International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, but all frames for other occasions created by Rean Id on Twibbonize are supported by Indonesian people from everywhere. By using the Twibbonize frame from REAN, it means that you support the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency’s efforts in carrying out its role for the nation, especially in terms of preventing and eradicating narcotics.
